PicCollage Update Adds Soft Shadows, New Text Backgrounds, and a Cleaner My Collage

The latest version of PicCollage introduces three confirmed user-facing features: soft shadows for any element, new text backgrounds and presets, and a redesigned My Collage section.

Soft Shadows for Any Element

Users can now add soft shadows to photos, stickers, frame scraps, and Magic Letters. The feature applies a subtle depth effect that makes layered elements stand out against the background. This replaces the previous hard-shadow option, giving collages a more natural, dimensional look.

New Text Backgrounds and Presets

The update adds two new text background styles: blur and note. The blur background allows text to remain readable when placed over busy photos, while the note background creates a scrapbook-style appearance. Alongside these backgrounds, the update includes fresh text presets that provide pre-styled combinations for faster text formatting.

Cleaner My Collage Organization

The My Collage section has been redesigned for easier navigation. For users with ten or more collages, the app now offers new organization tools that make saved projects easier to find and manage.

Availability

These features are included in the current version of PicCollage available on Google Play. The update is rolling out to all users.
