ZeptoLab has released an update for Cut the Rope 2 on Google Play, bringing new content to the long-running physics-puzzle game. The update, version 1.47.1, is now available for Android devices.
What's New
The official changelog on Google Play states: "Added a joyful juiciness to Om Nom's everyday life." This update includes 15 new "juicy party levels" that are described as "full of high jinks and puzzle pranks." According to the listing, these levels are completely new and available to all players.
The new content adds to the game's existing 168 levels, which span multiple locations and feature the Nommies—seven helper characters that assist Om Nom in his candy-collecting adventures. The update does not include bug fixes or performance improvements, focusing entirely on the new level content.
About Cut the Rope 2
Cut the Rope 2 is a physics-based puzzle game where players help Om Nom, a small green monster, collect candy by cutting ropes, popping bubbles, and using various environmental elements. The game features tactile feedback and responsive controls that have been a hallmark of the franchise since its debut in 2010.
The sequel expanded on the original by giving Om Nom more movement and reactions, and introducing the Nommies as helpers with unique abilities. The game is free to download on Google Play and is also available on Windows through the Google Play Games PC client.
Availability
The update is live on Google Play as of July 14, 2026. Players can download or update Cut the Rope 2 directly from the Google Play Store. The APK version 1.47.1 is also available from third-party sources for manual installation.
