Based on user feedback, The Pattern offers remarkably accurate and personalized insights into personality and relationships, which multiple sampled reviews described as valuable. However, recent updates have drawn criticism due to a high-cost subscription paywall, a shift to forced audio content, and a less intuitive interface. Login issues and technical bugs also frustrated users. While some appreciate the generous free content, the app may be best for those willing to pay for deep astrological analysis.
What users like
Accuracy and resonance of insights Sampled reviewers found personalized readings eerily accurate and helpful for self-understanding.
Depth and detail of content Users appreciated comprehensive analysis of patterns, timing, and bonds, unmatched by other apps.
Relationship and compatibility features Bonds feature praised for insightful relationship dynamics with friends and partners.
Freemium model with generous free content Free version offers substantial content without ads, and some felt it worth paying for.
Common concerns
Paywall and high subscription cost Frequent complaints about content locked behind pricey subscription, with users calling it a 'cash grab'.
Forced audio format Users disliked shift to audio-based insights, with autoplay being a particular annoyance.
Deteriorating UI/UX after updates New versions made the app confusing and cluttered, with valued features moved or removed.
