My Verizon Latest Updates

The My Verizon app now includes two new loyalty programs: Verizon Shine and Verizon Dollars. Both programs are available to all Verizon customers regardless of their plan.

Verizon Shine replaces the previous myAccess program. Users can access free gift cards, merchandise, and giveaways throughout the week. Every Monday, the app offers a new sweepstakes entry for once-in-a-lifetime experiences. These include all-expense-paid trips across music, food, culture, and sports categories. The program also features daily drops with offers from third-party providers, prestige event tickets, and digital content.

Verizon Dollars lets customers earn 3% cash back every month just for being a Verizon customer. Users opt in through the app to start earning. The Dollars can be spent on devices and accessories directly through Verizon. Customers can also redeem them for gift cards at brands like Starbucks, Marriott, TJ Maxx, and Sephora. Hotel and ticket rewards are another redemption option. Verizon Visa Card holders can earn additional Verizon Dollars and apply them toward Verizon bills.

Activation and Upgrade Fees are eliminated for customers who enroll in Verizon Loyalty. Once enrolled, users pay no activation or upgrade fees when getting a new device. This applies to all customers on any plan, making it the only loyalty program of its kind in the industry.

The app version 20.4.0 includes these features. The rollout began in June 2025. Users can find the new loyalty sections in the app's main navigation menu.
